Thailand, the land of smiles. Oh, how I wish you weren't a 20 hour flight away. I dream about green curry, khao man gai, kao soi, durian, jack fruit and pa mee keow.
No, it's not just about the food, but that is a very special part of the visit! I also dream about 2 hour massages for $10. Yes, they are super affordable but they are also by far the best massages I have ever had. Theraputic and relaxing all at the same time.
I miss the art and markets in Chiang Mai. I miss the beautiful temples and spirituality at every turn. I miss the elephants at the elephant hospital. I miss the island beaches and views from Phuket. But most of all, I miss the people. Give most Thai people a smile and you will receive a smile back.
